There is plenty of delicious cheap eats in Kaneyama Town.
We love Kaneyama Town's red pumpkins!!
The red pumpkin is a cute pumkin that is orange all around and has a flatter shape. It is characterized by its thick stem and blossom end that sticks out like a belly button. Its skin is thin, which means you can enjoy the red pumpkin's soft texture in its entirety. It has a much stronger sweetness than the average pumpkin and makes for delicious desserts in addition to simmered dishes. It can be used to cook with a variety of ways. Its harvest season is from September to October.
Infused with Kaneyama Town's pure air and water melted from snow, it is truly a gift from nature.

The Azaki Daikon is a wild daikon that grows in Kaneyama Town's Uenohara Highland. Pale purple flowers begin to bloom all at once at the end of May, tinted the mountain town with the color of early summer.
This daikon's spice is pungent, and in addition to using it as a condiment in soba, using it in place of wasabi in a variety of dishes will give your food new character!
We hope visitors to Kaneyama Town enjoy delicious meals during their time here!
